One sponsor per issue. Written in our voice. Clearly labeled. Built to move real-world humans in Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, and Tradition — not to chase impressions.

§02 · Why it works

A format that respects the reader — which is why it converts.

01 · Single slot

One sponsor. One issue.

No banner fatigue. No carousel. Your message is the only paid placement in the email, which means every eyeball lingers on it.

02 · Written by us

In the Scoop's voice.

We interview you, draft the copy, you approve it. Same tone as our reporting — so readers actually read it.

03 · Clearly labeled

“— Sponsored —”

We'd rather lose an ad than a reader's trust. Every placement is unmissably labeled. The trade: readers know what it is, and they still click.

04 · Local only

Real businesses, real zip codes.

We vet every sponsor. No out-of-state DTC brands, no crypto, no lead-gen schemes. If you serve St. Lucie, we'll talk.

§03 · Our audience

Who actually opens the email.

Working adults who own homes and show up to meetings.

Our readership is skew-older, skew-homeowner, skew-engaged. Civic nerds, realtors, small-business owners, school-board regulars, and people who moved here in the last five years and want to feel like locals.

The median household income of our readers is roughly 2× the county median — not because we target them, but because they subscribe and stay.

§05 · Common questions

What advertisers ask us.

Q1

What does a sponsorship cost?

It depends on timing and slot type. Our standard weekday placement runs from the high-three to low-four figures; the Thursday “Things to Do” slot and Friday long-form are our highest-demand slots. Full pricing in the media kit.

Q2

Can I write my own ad?

You can, but our conversion is meaningfully higher when we write it. It's part of what makes the format work. We'll interview you, draft in our voice, and you have final approval.

Q3

What counts as a local business?

Headquarters or primary operating address inside St. Lucie, Martin, or Indian River County. Exceptions for Treasure Coast anchors (Cleveland Clinic, Harbor Branch, etc.) at our discretion.

Q4

How do you track results?

Every sponsor gets a UTM'd link, a unique landing URL (if you want one), and a two-week post-issue report with opens, clicks, and rough geo. We don't pixel or retarget your visitors.

Q5

What won't you run?

Crypto, lead-gen aggregators, political endorsements, payday loans, anything that targets minors, and anything that conflicts with active coverage. We'll tell you if we can't.
